DIESIS

European Research and Development Service for the Social Economy 

 

DIESIS supports the development of the social economy, and in particular cooperatives, social enterprises and worker-owned enterprises, in Europe and in the world.

DIESIS has a multi-lingual and a multi-cultural structure. Its operating system encompasses many of the social economy key topics and projects concerning cooperatives in Europe and worldwide. Communications are made in all major European Union languages, hence maximising effective transnational performance and reporting.

DIESIS extensive network of international experts in the social economy and cooperative sector certainly adds a potential advantage in terms of visiblity and latest updates to its members.

Enterprises, advisory and development structures, and organisations specialised in the transfer of know-how recognised as being part of the social economy in Europe and in the world.

Projects

Assistance to development of projects for the social economy: Transnational projects design, feasibility, redaction and economic and financial planning, project management.

Training

Flexible training programmes for cooperative entrepreneurs: Training young people in business management, Organisation of internships and study visits in Brussels and abroad for students and workers.
