The SETS Final Conference “Empowering Tomorrow: Transition Skills for Social Economy” is scheduled for December 11, 9:30 am – 3:00 pm in Brussels, (hybrid format).
With the mission to strengthen social economy organisations for future sustainability, this event will showcase the results of the project SETS (Social Economy Transition Skills) a European initiative dedicated to equipping social economy organisations with the green and digital capabilities needed to thrive amid changing societal and environmental demands.
Why this matters
The social economy plays a pivotal role in fostering inclusion, sustainability, and community resilience. But to continue making an impact, these organisations need to adapt: embracing digital tools, adopting greener practices, and building new skills. That’s precisely what SETS is designed for: supporting the twin transition (digital + green) with tailored training paths.
What to expect at the event
-
Presentations by project partners on their findings: skills-gap analyses, the design of training modules
-
Demonstrations of the training and certification framework developed under SETS
-
Insights from pilot phases and impact assessment results
-
An open discussion and networking session, a chance for social economy stakeholders to exchange, reflect, and explore collaboration
Through this final conference, SETS aims to pass the baton — setting the stage for broader uptake of green + digital upskilling across social economy organisations throughout Europe.
The event will be held in a hybrid format. Full agenda and registration details are available on the SETS website.
