Bosnia ed Eerzegovina
The Center for the development of social entrepreneurship “Globus”, registered on February 2014 in Banja Luka, encourages the development of social entrepreneurship towards reducing social exclusion, poverty and unemployment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They initiated and established the coalition for the development of social entrepreneurship “United We Can More”, first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. So far, more than 70 organisations throughout the country joined the coalition.
Main activities of CDP Globus:
- Development and implementation of programs and projects for the development of social entrepreneurship in various sectors;
- Organizing training and consulting for entrepreneurs, NGOs, institutions of system and other target groups active in the field of social entrepreneurship;
- Implementation of promotional and advocacy campaigns aimed at raising awareness of human rights, particularly of marginalized groups;
- Promotion of innovative models, approaches and practices in the field of social inclusion, employment and entrepreneurship.
