LABORPAR is the Spanish Federation of Labour-Owned and Worker-Participated Companies. We are a business organisation established to represent and advocate for companies incorporated as “sociedades laborales” (labour-owned companies) in Spain.
Currently, there are around 8,500 sociedades laborales in Spain, employing nearly 60,000 people. LABORPAR is made up of business associations from Spain’s various autonomous communities.
The “sociedad laboral” is recognised under Spanish law as a legal form within the social economy. As such, LABORPAR is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of CEPES, the Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy.
