Adaltim EU Project

Adaltim

ADALTIM is an EU-funded initiative that aims to redefine impact measurement and rating systems for the social economy. It will create a new independent organisation capable of delivering knowledge-intensive, AI-driven impact ratings built on integrity, transparency, and comparability.

Traditional ESG ratings fail to capture the real value of social purpose entities (SPEs). They overemphasise environmental indicators, overlook social impact, and lack transparency. ADALTIM bridges this gap by designing a methodology and digital infrastructure that assess the real societal outcomes generated by purpose-driven organisations.

Objectives

  • Create the first outcome-based impact rating system built on scientific rigour and transparency.
  • Develop the Impact Rating Platform (IRP) and Impact Data Lake for large-scale, interoperable impact data.
  • Establish NewCo, a sustainable, market-based organisation to manage and commercialise the platform.
  • Build trust among investors, social enterprises, and regulators by ensuring methodological coherence and data integrity.

The Impact Rating Platform (IRP) is powered by an Impact Data Lake — a centralised repository combining primary and secondary data from multiple sources.

It delivers:

  • An Impact Catalogue for benchmarking and forecasting outcomes.
  • An Impact Index, a synthetic quantitative score of social performance.
  • An Impact Rating Score, combining data with qualitative assessments.
