Empowering Rural Communities for a Sustainable Future

This is a pioneer European initiative focused on revitalizing rural areas by promoting social entrepreneurship, sustainable skills development, and green job creation, with a special focus on empowering youth and women. Through targeted capacity-building programs and transnational cooperation, we work alongside local authorities and social economy organizations to foster resilient and inclusive rural economies.

RURAL RiSE envisions sustainable economic and social regeneration, transforming rural areas into vibrant communities.

Our mission is to foster sustainable rural development and create green job opportunities for youth in rural areas. Through key initiatives such as mapping resources and methodologies for green employment, we strengthen collaboration between local authorities and social economy organizations.

We promote the adoption of local action plans focused on green jobs and facilitate transnational exchanges of best practices.

Additionally, we support youth social entrepreneurship to address pressing challenges like unemployment, depopulation, and social exclusion, building a prosperous and equitable future for rural communities.
