SPACES2NEB

Spaces regeneration for a fair and sustainable living – According to the New European Bauhaus values

In the face of ecological, social and demographic crisis, social urban regeneration is a way to create sustainable and inclusive spaces. The SPACE2NEB project is part of this dynamic, bringing together organizations committed to social entrepreneurship and the revitalization of our living spaces. Together, we will define key competencies and build innovative business models to transform our cities into sustainable places accessible to all.

Project objectives

  • Identification of key skills: The project aims to identify existing and missing skills among social entrepreneurs working in the regeneration of spaces, with a particular focus on the environment and sustainability. We need to forge leaders capable of responding to the challenges of our time.
  • Dynamic social business models: By examining the methodologies and practices of entrepreneurs involved in urban regeneration, we seek to develop adaptable frameworks rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. These frameworks will serve as tools to facilitate the creation of viable business models, complemented by essential skills to be tested with stakeholders, including public authorities and support organizations. Together, we will navigate the complexities of urban regeneration and foster innovative, context-sensitive approaches.
  • Collaboration and networking: The project will facilitate mutual knowledge between partners, laying the foundations for future collaborations. It’s the perfect opportunity to create genuine links between all the players involved in change.

The project’s activities will benefit organizations working in the field of social economy, local authorities, urban planners, as well as entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs wishing to get involved in regenerating spaces.

In the long term, the SPACE2NEB project aims to prefiguring the creation of a diploma in social urban regeneration, based on the knowledge and skills identified. By training future leaders of change, we will prepare them to energize regeneration projects across Europe.

Together, we can transform our cities into revitalized, sustainable living spaces!
