Education, Training and Anti-discrimination
As Executive Director, Alessia coordinates Diesis’ overall activities, the organisational strategy and financial management. In 2015, she joined Diesis as project manager, to follow activities on education and training, youth empowerment and equal opportunities. In the last years, she has been focusing on promoting fair treatment, non-discrimination, and equal opportunities at workplace by creating spaces for discussions, exchange of good practices, mutual learning, and cooperation. Before joining Diesis, she worked in education and training sector in Italy supporting social inclusion of disadvantaged people linked to the cooperative movement, social enterprises, and third sector. In the past, she has also been involved as trainer by the Italian Youth Council promoting youth empowerment, equal opportunities, and human rights. She is a successful team player, guarantying a cooperative and multicultural working environment.
Her working languages are Italian, French, English and Spanish.
