She has a strong background in research and communication and plays a crucial role in defining Diesis’ knowledge strategy. Anastasia has authored several articles, research papers, and book chapters on the social economy and its role in the twin transition, alternative food systems, new rurality and local communities, the New European Bauhaus, and creative cultural industries. She has a talent for analysing complex information and presenting it in a simplified and effective way. Anastasia uses social listening, collective visioning, co-creation workshops, and mapping to research trends and innovations around proximity and the social economy ecosystem. Anastasia has an international research background in Food and Nutrition for Sustainable Behaviour Change, covering social, economic, ecological, and clinical aspects. In 2014, she collaborated with the Department of Agro-Food Science and Technologies (DISTAL) at the University of Bologna to research the financial aspect of sustainable food choices. Anastasia holds an MA in Food Science and Human Nutrition.
