Founder of ADP-Zid

Igor Milosevic has 35 years of experience in the civil society. With 16 years of age, he became a member of the Ferijalni savez (Association). As a student of the University of Montenegro he became active in student movements and in 1996, with a group of students he initiated Association for Democratic Prosperity–Zid.

Today, Igor as a Civil Engineer is an experienced manager, policy maker and trainer. He actively worked on the development of the local community and the civil society on the national and regional level of South-East Europe through policy development, implementation of ideas and various programs and projects, including social economy and adequate housing. For two years (2000- 2001), he was a Coordinator of Youth Sector in the regional network – The Citizens Pact for SEE. For the next two years, Igor was a program manager in USAID/ORT Montenegro Advocacy Program, responsible for monitoring and coordinating overall implementation of the program in Montenegro. From March 2003 until end of 2006 (3 years) Igor was the chairperson of the Network of the Independent Printed Media in Montenegro. In period of 2007 until 2012, he was the President of National Youth Steering Committee and at the same time member of European Steering Committee for Youth – Council of Europe. He is active in negotiation process on the accession of Montenegro to the European Union as member of working group 22 – Regional policy and coordination of structural instruments.

Igor Milosevic is CEO of the social enterprise “Upbeat Hub ltd” and he was the organizer of the Upbeat Forums which were held three times (2017, 2018, 2019). Upbeat hub is a co-creative space, co-working and event & training centre, where Igor has a managing position.
